Jaipur: The “Khushiyon Ki Gaadi,” an initiative by Abhyutthanam Welfare Foundation Jaipur, was ceremoniously flagged off at SMS Stadium by Dr. Neeraj K Pawan, IAS, Secretary of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Rajasthan, and Mr. Vimal Jain, CFO of AU Small Finance Bank.
Abhyutthanam Director Riddhi Chandrawat highlighted that the campaign aims to promote art and sports among underprivileged children while spreading awareness about the Right to Education Act and environmental conservation through street plays. The campaign involves the distribution of art kits, sports equipment, medical supplies, and sanitary products. Running till January 3, the campaign will culminate with the Nanhe Kalakar Festival on January 4-5.
On its first day, “Khushiyon Ki Gaadi” visited Kathputli Nagar, engaging children with activities promoting education, hygiene, and Rajasthan’s art and culture. Additionally, a “Spot the Khushiyon Ki Gaadi” competition is being held, allowing participants to scan a QR code displayed on the vehicle.
Nanhe Kalakar Festival: A Celebration of Art and Culture
Jointly organized by AU Foundation, Rajasthan Tourism Department, Rajasthan Youth Board, Jawahar Kala Kendra, and Abhyutthanam, the Nanhe Kalakar Festival will be held at Shilp Gram, Jawahar Kala Kendra, on January 4-5. This unique initiative seeks to connect children and youth with Rajasthan’s rich art and culture while raising funds for environmental efforts through the Aranya Ropan forest plantation campaign.

1. Theatre Performances:
- A group of 25 young Manganiyar children trained in Rajasthani folk music by renowned artist Devu Khan Manganiyar will perform.
- Special music bands like Indian Ocean, Rahgir, Neeraj Arya’s Kabir Cafe, and Yugam Band will grace the stage.
- Over 50 folk artists from Rajasthan will present diverse traditional dances. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Aranya Ropan Abhiyaan.
2. Chaupal (Talk Shows):
Eminent speakers such as MLA Ravindra Bhati, IAS Dr. Neeraj Kumar Pawan, CMD of World Trade Park Mr. Anoop Bartaria, and others will discuss various topics, joined by poets, singers, and content creators.
3. Artwork and Workshops:
Interactive sessions on Rajasthan’s traditional arts, including Mandana art, blue pottery, block printing, lac bangles, and more, will be organized for children and adults.
4. Food and Shopping:
- Popular brands like Domino’s Pizza, Burger Farm, and Baskin Robbins will set up stalls, contributing a portion of their sales to the plantation drive.
- A Festival Bazaar featuring 30 unique brands will also donate proceeds to the campaign.
5. Laughter and Fun:
Games and fun activities for all age groups will add to the festival’s vibrancy.
