Nagpur: With the aim of raising awareness about AIDS and fostering a positive understanding, HER Foundation, Nagpur, in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Secondary and Higher Secondary School, Kalmeshwar, organized a special awareness dialogue program on World AIDS Day.
The program was inaugurated by Prabodhankar Vijaya Marotkar. She addressed the students, especially the girls, providing them with essential guidance on being vigilant and cautious in society. Her renowned awareness campaign, ‘Pori Zara Japun,’ is widely appreciated.
Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Duff and ICTC Counselor Archana ChandanKhede from Rural Hospital, Kalmeshwar, also educated students on preventive measures against AIDS and addressed their queries.
The event was chaired by the school principal, Surendra Chambhare. Advocate Bhumita Savarkar, President of HER Foundation, also engaged with the students on the significance of AIDS awareness.
The program covered all aspects, from the causes of AIDS to preventive measures, and emphasized the importance of initiating positive discussions on the subject within the community.
